Hope and Trust

Writer: DEBORAH COCOSDEBORAH COCOS

As I was praying in the Spirit this morning over God's people and our nation, the Lord told me to open the Word, so I did. Look at these scriptures in Jeremiah 17: 7-8:

  1. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord.

  2. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."

None of us can predict the future, but God has spoken to His prophets about what is coming on this earth. I'm here to say with certainty that if we, as God's kids, fail to strengthen our hope and trust in God alone, we will not only have difficulties, but we will fail to produce kingdom fruit in the coming days. There's no reason to be barren during trials and tribulations. The apostles were the most fruitful during great adversity. Who do we think we are to think that we will be exempt from trials and tribulations? My friends, nothing is more important in life at this point in time than making sure that our entire trust and hope is in God alone. This is a Watchman's call to take care of your spirituality first. Where does your hope and trust lie? Is it half God and half man? That won't work. In that scenario, fear will run rampant. Blessed is the man/woman who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord. Make that a reality in your life because nothing else will work. Blessings.

Deb

If we lose trust (our faith) in God, we will lose our hope, which is necessary for our victory. This is such a profound Word, Deb. Thank you for your faithfulness to write your insights. I benefit greatly!💓
